RECARO POLE POSITION WITH ABE - APPROVED FOR ROAD USE

The racing shell that's now approved for the road.
Recaro is the only seat supplier to be able to offer a racing shell with ABE approval (TuV) for road use when installed with Recaro side mounts and fitting kit.The pole position shell provides an improved level of driving comfort thanks to the broader seat cushion and excellent lateral support. The special moulded form in the back area provides improved support in the upright sitting position in offroad vehicles. The shell is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP). Available in a choice of black, red, blue or leather.

So you're looking at £654 - £761 per seat inc. VAT ready to fit, trimmed in black cloth.

My recommendation would be to fit RECARO Pole Position with ABE, this is the only 'shell seat' on the market from any manufacturer with TuV certification for road use as the lower side-bolster belt apperture has been specially designed to allow the belt buckle to be inserted into the seat, improving both comfort and safety.

We offer the Pole Position ABE trimmed in Ambla leather (black) on the bolsters/borders with Dinamica Suede centre panels (black, red, blue, beige or silver) for an extra £56 and a silver metallic or gun metallic shell finish (really nice) for an extra £90 on the Ambla/Dinamica trim versions.

Manufactured from glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) the pro racer 99 SP-G offers an exceptionally firm hold due thanks to extremely high lateral support and added high friction lining in the shoulder and seat areas. This top of the range shell was developed specially for professional racing drivers. The padded head protector offers additional protection as well as side support for the head. The more pronounced ergonomic shape of the backrest was designed with input from STW-racers.
